This is a theological exploration of the critique of religion. The book is divided into three sections: 1. a historical / exegetical study of Barth and Bonhoeffer on the critique of religion; 2. an engagement with doctrine after Christendom; 3. a discussion of theologies of the religions from the perspective of the theological critique of religion.
