Abstract
Brian Daley’s contribution to Patristics and theology over the past decades is immense. From his first monograph on Patristic eschatology, through numerous essays on various Fathers and themes, his translations (both of Patristic texts and the modern classic Cosmic Liturgy by von Balthasar), to the recent appearance of his long-awaited edition and translation of Leontius of Byzantium, Daley has nourished countless students of early Christianity, beyond those many who were fortunate to work directly under him.
