Abstract

Background: To evaluate the comparative efficacy of the different extracorporeal RRT methods; haemodialysis (HD), haemofiltration (HF), haemodiafiltration (HDF) and acetate free biofiltration (AFB) we performed a systematic review of randomised controlled trials (RCTs) comparing these RRT modalities.
